Mindfulness and Positive Thinking Instructor

Selmin Erk, a chemical engineer and educator, has been continuing her education in the field of stress management and deep relaxation techniques since she started practicing Transcendental Meditation in 1987. Over the years, she has received training in Silva Mind methods, Mindfulness and Therapy at Harvard Medical School, Be Mindful with Ed Halliwell and Tessa Watt, Mindfulness Tools at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness (MBSR), and SIYLI – Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, mindfulness, and emotional resilience.

In 2014, she served as a mindfulness instructor for a period of three months in all activities conducted by the Psycho-Social Department of the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Authority. She is an instructor for the “b Project” of Mindfulness in Schools Organization, which operates actively in schools worldwide. Throughout her training journey, she has worked with Thich Nhat Hanh, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ronald Siegel, Daniel Siegel, and Florence Meleo-Meyers.

Since 2010, she has been providing corporate and individual training in mindfulness, deep relaxation, and positive thinking.
