Dermapen

The Dermapen method, which was selected as the best skin rejuvenation system of the year in the United States in 2012, also reduces the visibility of acne scars, wound scars, and stretch marks.

The Dermapen treatment system, which is a modernized version of the micro-needling technique dating back to ancient Chinese history, is particularly preferred for the face, hands, and neck. It is suitable for all skin types and can be applied to sensitive areas that women tend to avoid, such as the neck and inner arms, due to its fine needles.

What is Dermapen?

Dermapen is used to perform micro-needling on the skin. It stimulates the natural production of elastin and collagen in the skin by causing controlled damage. As a result, damaged tissues in the skin become active again and are rapidly repaired.

How Does Dermapen Work?

The Dermapen application creates multiple microchannels in the skin using vibrating needles, activating the skin’s own healing mechanisms. At the same time, the applied mesotherapy solutions, such as hyaluronic acid, PRP, or CGF, are easily absorbed through these channels, promoting faster and healthier tissue regeneration.

Areas of Application

It is used for the treatment of various skin issues such as acne, skin rejuvenation, enlarged pores, fine lines, sunspots, and scars. It contributes to skin remodeling and strengthening of the collagen tissue.

How is Dermapen Applied?

Before the procedure, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. Hyaluronic acid, mesotherapy solutions, PRP, or CGF are applied to the area requiring treatment. Microchannels are then created on the skin using the automated vibrating needling technique to enhance the absorption and therapeutic effect of these substances.

How Many Sessions and How Often is Dermapen Applied?

The Dermapen procedure can be performed in 2-6 sessions, depending on the skin problem. Sessions are spaced 15-30 days apart. The treatment can be repeated if deemed necessary by the physician.

Is the Procedure Painful?

To minimize pain, an anesthetic cream is applied to the skin before the Dermapen procedure. The application method is easy and comfortable. A soothing mask is applied at the end of the procedure.

Post-Treatment Care

Mild redness and a burning sensation that may occur after the treatment will subside within approximately 6 hours and resolve on their own. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight immediately after the procedure. Refrain from vigorous exercise, hot water, steam baths, saunas, or tanning beds for 2 days. Use a water-based moisturizer and avoid wearing makeup for the first 24 hours.

Side Effects of Dermapen

Dermapen has no risks or side effects.
